Michael Crowther, MIS - Instructional Designer and Project Manager

Michael works collaboratively with clients to create intuitive and engaging web-based programs that meet corporate training and development objectives. He has a strong background in user-centered design, instructional assessment, and learning theory.

Before joining Park Li, Michael worked for Waterford Research Institute, where he designed and assessed educational software and web-based applications. At Waterford, he conducted ethnographic studies, surveys, and usability tests to guide his design of program management systems used internationally.

Michael has published on the value of usability testing to improve e-learning, and his research on human-computer interaction issues has been presented at various conferences. He has also evaluated the educational effectiveness of e-learning programs, in partnership with global professionals from the United States, China, India, Mexico, and Spain.

Michael received a Master of Information Science degree from Indiana University, focusing on human-computer interaction, and a B.A. in English from Brigham Young University, emphasizing editing and technical writing. He speaks fluent Spanish and is an active member of the Usability Professionals’ Association and the Association for Computing Machinery.
